My daughter also has Cancer suicide awareness in the eye shirt. Thank you for sharing. She starts high school next week and I am always anxious if she will get a math teacher who is willing to work with her modifications. It has been very inconsistent over the years but she had wonderful teachers in middle school. She is in a resource room for math and has modifications. She struggles significantly with comprehension. I guess assuming my daughter wouldn’t be able to take care of herself. Never respected that teacher again. But I paid for a testing evaluation with a local private school that specializes in learning disabilities. They determined that my daughter’s issues were specifically math related and since she was at grade level in all other subjects she wasn’t a good fit for their program but wrote some an evaluation.
