However, when they would break away from the group I would just let them break away, although I would go up to them and let them know that they can’t go out of my sight. But, for example, when this boy broke away from the group to go lie down and cover his ears on a picnic bench away from the other kids who are being loud and toasting marshmallows, I just let him.
